PROBLEMS OF TRADE CHAINS REGARDING BEVERAGES SALE

The purpose of this dissertation was an analysis of the relationship of the chosen company, which produces non-alcoholic drinks, and retail chains. The survey was conducted by the TYMBARK-MASPEX CZECH s.r.o. , Veselí nad Lužnicí. The first part of the dissertation summarises the theoretical information about price, marketing research, and business negotiations. The second part of this dissertation contains information about the company and information about the research conducted by this company. One of the results of this research is also the list of ten biggest consumers. The chosen methodologies were questionnaires and personal interviews. Each question is illustrated graphically and complemented by a short comment. The research is concluded by a discussion and further improvement suggestions. The suggestions are to invest into advertisements and to enhance market share in order to achieve better negotiation conditions with retail chains.
Business and Cultural Specifics of Cuba

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize general information about Cuba, Cuban current economic situation and predominantly cultural and business specifics. The first chapter deals with the geographical and political position of Cuba, population, history, economic structure, main macroeconomic indicators and economic potential. The second chapter focuses on foreign trade and gives information about relationships between Cuba and the US and Cuba and the EU. The third chapter is devoted to the Cuban culture, their customs and traditions, art, the status of women and is complemented by knowledge from a Cuban student. The last chapter analyses the course and specifics of business negotiations and is supported by information from Czech and Slovak companies, which have already entered the Cuban market.
Czech-Swiss trade relations

The main goal of the thesis is to analyze trade relations between the Czech republic and Switzerland. The thesis also includes analysis of the Swiss attitude towards the European union and presents cultural and trade specifics of Switzerland. The first chapter characterizes Switzerland in general and economically. The second chapter deals with bilateral relations between Switzerland and the European union. The third chapter describes trade relations between Switzerland and the Czech republic, the development of the trade balance between these two countries and possible development of their trade relations in the future. The fourth chapter is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical section is based on the concept of cultural dimensions introduced by Geert Hofstede and Gert Jan Hofstede and compares the Swiss and the Czech culture. The practical section is focused on the Czech view of business negotiations with the Swiss and contains evaluation of questionnaires that were filled in by Czech employees who cooperate with the Swiss on a daily basis.
Business and Cultural Specifics of Israel

The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to characterize economic, cultural and business aspects of Israel. The first chapter is devoted to the basic characteristics of Israel, specifically to geographic conditions, demographic data, history of immigration,religious gropus, state establishment and legal system, national emblems, practical information. The second chapter is aimed at economic characteristics of Israel, which includes an analysis of the basic macroeconomic indicators, foreign trade of Israel and the trade with the Czech Republic. The third chapter is devoted to the culture of Israel and its influence of the business negotiations. The fourth chapter is the result of the questionnaire survey and interviews with the representatioves of the Slovak and Czech companies.
Specifics of business negotiations in China

This thesis aims to provide complex view of business negotiations with Chinese partners, particularly with regard to intercultural differences and characteristics of business protocol. The thesis is divided into four chapters, focused on China as a territory, distinctions in culture and business, as well as selected business dealings between Czech and Chinese company. Knowledge of Chinese "game rules" and sufficient preparation are two essential preconditions for long-term success in the Chinese scene.

This bachelor thesis deals with the business and cultural specifics of Saudi Arabia. The main objective of my bachelor thesis is to characterize economic, cultural and business aspects of Saudi Arabia. The first chapter is devoted to the basic characteristics of Saudi Arabia, specifically to geographic conditions, demographic data, political system, legal system of the country, national emblems, membership in major international organizations and practical information. In the second chapter I deal with the economic characteristics of Saudi Arabia. It includes an analysis of the basic macroeconomic indicators and economic sectors. This part of the thesis also focuses on Saudi Arabia's foreign trade, including the trade with the Czech Republic. The third chapter is devoted to the culture of Saudi Arabia, its most significant features and business negotiations. It also includes the cultural dimensions by Geert Hofstede, the Islamic religion, the way of life and the position of women in the Arab world. The fourth chapter contains the interviews with the representatives of the Czech companies, which have already entered the Saudi Arabian market.
Business and cultural specifics of India

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to introduce specifics of India in economic, business and cultural areas. First chapter introduces Indian geography, population and short history. One part of first chapter is focused on economic and business environment of India. Second chapter deals with Indian culture and its influence on business negotiations. Third chapter is a practical part. At the beginning a company Škoda Auto a.s. and its subsidiary Skoda Auto India Pvt. Ltd. are introduced. The chapter presents the results of questionnaire survey which is concerned the cultural specifics of Indians. The survey was made within the Škoda employees working with Indian colleagues.
German-Russian Business Relations

German-Russian relations are one of the most important economic topics discussed at present. The relations are strong thanks to a mutual and elaborate co-operation built on the power and importance of both countries. The goal of this thesis is to portray German-Russian mutual relations and find an answer to the question whether Germany is dependent on Russian energy supplies. The thesis has two main parts: the first is focused on a comparison of German and Russian economies, the second addresses trade relations. The comparison is based on macroeconomic indicators and culture in both countries, also showing the difference in business activities. Moreover, international trade in goods and services and foreign direct investment are discussed as well and are considered to be the key part of the thesis. Foreign direct investment is illustrated with particular instances and projects, followed by a chapter on the current anti-Russian sanctions. This chapter is rather extensive and therefore has its own interpretation. Finally, the thesis presents an overview of present bilateral agreements and contracts, including the organizations and institutions supporting the German-Russian co-operation.
Business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Finland considering cultural differences

The aim of the thesis is to analyze mutual business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Finland considering culture and cultural differences as an aspect with a considerable influence. Special attention is paid to the process of business negotiations. These two countries are compared on the basis of cultural dimensions by Geert Hofstede as well as on the basis of research conducted in cooperation with native Finns.

In my work, I deal with the specifics of the business environment of Egypt with the possibility of doing business for Czech subjects there. The aim of this thesis is to describe the specifics of Egypt's business environment, identify promising sectors for Czech exporters and process useful information of companies and individuals who operate in this market. The second part deals with the evaluation of research experience of Czech companies operating in Egypt.
